Community Fund
Matthew Barber, Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) has opened applications to his Community Fund to support local projects tackling crime The Community Fund supports voluntary and community groups assisting both the PCC and Thames Valley Police in helping to prevent crime and keep communities safe. £100,000 is available in the latest round of funding, with applications to the fund opening twice a year.

0:10 grabs across the Thames Valley.
0:12 The cash comes from the sale of items
0:14 seized from criminals that cannot be
0:16 returned to their rightful owners,
0:18 meaning we really can take money from
0:19 the bad guys and give it to good causes.
0:22 Voluntary groups can play a significant
0:24 role in helping to tackle local issues
0:26 around crime prevention and supporting
0:28 vulnerable groups and I hope that the
0:30 funding from this scheme will help to
0:32 support communities across Berkshire,
0:34 Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and
0:36 Oxfordshire.
